Even though I didn’t get to do the show today, I thought I’d post the tracklist anyway. I decided to keep things simple and focus on these four albums, featuring some excellent female artists (granted, only the vocalists of School of Seven Bells and Twin Sister are women). Incidentally, we’ve been discussing gender issues in my hip hop class and my jazz class. Perhaps the subject matter has infiltrated my brain on a deeper level…
