Halloween is the time for costume angst, a three-day weekend of partying, and – most importantly – pumpkins. As fun as jack-o’-lanterns are, ours usually end up looking like Pinterest fails even if we use a stencil. We may not have any talent in the way of pumpkin carving, but luckily there are other humans on this planet who do. Check out some of these sick pumpkins we wish we carved.

 

 

1. Because there is something really funny about pumpkins eating other pumpkins.

 

 

2. You’ve got to love the Nightmare Before Christmas (in case you were wondering, it is actually a Halloween movie). Whoever carved this was crazy amazing at the tiny details.

 

 

3. This Joker lantern is haunting and perfect for Halloween.

 

 

4. Granted, these pumpkins are a little easier skill-wise, but I never would have thought of this cute idea.

 

 

5. It doesn’t light up, but it’s hilarious.

 

 

6. Ew. If you want to creep out your friends, this is definitely the way to go.

Carving pumpkins like these takes some serious skill. Who knew that a Halloween tradition could be such an art? A grand round of applause to all the artists. Now I don’t know about you, but these epic pumpkins are getting me pumped for Halloweekend!
