With very few weekends left this year, many of you may be wondering how to make the most of your last few weekends at Cornell. Bid Night for Bed Nets hosted by NETwork Against Malaria is an annual-style philanthropic event at Alpha Delta Phi. This event is dedicated to increasing awareness about malaria and raising funds for the NETwork Against Malaria organization based in Uganda. NAM sends bed nets to school-age children, and, pregnant mothers who may pass malaria to their children. This Friday, you can get fancy and funky on the dance for all for an amazing cause! Are you convinced? If not, here’s five reasons why you must attend:

Support a good cause.

Given that Malaria has been the root cause of over 1.2 million deaths in the past year, Network Against Malaria has made it their goal to aid for those communities in-need of better healthcare.

After a long semester filled with many late nights in Mann, take a night to have fun! Enjoy a night of dancing to great music.

Spend the night with friends

As the semester comes to an end, most of us will be leaving Ithaca for cities and towns across the globe. Use this time to have one last laugh with friends for the semester or maybe make some new ones.

Bid on Cornell’s most eligible bachelors

Bid Night for Bed Nets will be held at Alpha Delta Phi on Friday, May 28th. To buy a ticket or donate, venmo @BidNight_4_BedNets. Tickets are $12 via venmo and $20 at the door.
