Every Fall, Cornellians don themselves from head to toe in red Cornell attire, ready to show their school spirit for one weekend (and one weekend only). Indeed, with a light show, the Inauguration of our 13th President, a 5K, the football game, and a Passion Pit concert, Cornellians manage to flaunt their pride in many different ways. But now that the weekend has passed, many are inclined to put their pom-poms away.
Not so fast. Here are seven ways to show your Big Red Pride even after Homecoming is over!

1. Tailgate another football game

cornell.edu
Other universities are known for their crazy and vivacious tailgates – so why can’t we do the same? Start the trend by tailgating and attending games with your friends!
2. Take a picture with Touchdown the Bear

cornell.edu
Have a photoshoot with everyone’s favorite mascot: Touchdown the Bear. Share your picture on social media to show your Big Red pride.
3. Change your profile picture to one from Homecoming

jnrgym.com
Whether it’s a #TBT or just because, make your mother happy and change your profile picture to one of you clad in all the Cornell apparel you bought when you got your acceptance letter.
4. Support Big Red at hockey games

cornellbigred.com
Cheer on one of our favorite teams all winter long at Lynah Rink. No game night is done right without good friends to cheer with.
5. Instagram the #clocktower

instagram.com
It’s not too basic…and you’ll get a million likes, guaranteed.
6. Order the “Big Red” pizza bagel from CTB

giphy.com
It’s a pizza bagel named after our school at our favorite late-night spot/brunch spot/lunch spot.
7. Wear your Cornell apparel all day, everyday

pintrest.com
Because who doesn’t look good in Carnelian, white and black? Plus you’ll look so collegiate.
Homecoming weekend is one of our craziest weekends here at Cornell. Whether you spent your day tailgating, watching the football game, or running a 5k – we hope that you showed your school spirit. C U next year, Homecoming!
