Tired of mixing cream and sugar? Want to make your own mocha? Try half coffee, half hot-chocolate. Easy way to get just the right amount of caffeine in addition to that yummy chocolate flavor.

Variations: black coffee cooled down with some chocolate milk.

2. Greek Yogurt Delight:

A popular Greek dish, this yogurt consists of fruit, cereal, and is topped of with some sweet golden honey. You know it’s awesome, it comes from Greece.

3. Tac-o-rrito:

An excellent and creative way to combine the yummy crunch that tacos offer with the not-falling-apart-in-your-hands that tacos don’t offer. Simply encase the hard taco shell within the soft torilla shell and add everything else! Tasty and efficient. (Taco bar is at Oakenshields every Wednesday)

4. Cornell Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich:

Do you find yourself restrained by the voice in your head that’s saying, “one dessert only”? Simple enough to get around: two cookies, and ice cream to boot.

5. Self Press Orange Juice

I don’t know if this really counts as a food hack, but keep your eye out for the orange juice press at various dining halls, especially Appel. It tastes just like an orange, but looks like orange juice. Delicious and fresh.

6. Toasty Soup

What’s better than a cup of hot soup on a cold Cornell’s day? A cup of hot soup with melted cheese and crunchy croutons, that’s what.

7. Cornell Dairy Milkshake

It used to be that you had to go to a restaurant to get a milkshake. Now, you can make your own! Just add milk, two scoops of your favorite ice cream, and ice cream toppings.

8. Cornell Chicken Parmesan

Every Tuesday at RPCC is chicken nugget day. Add the tomato sauce and parmesan from the pasta bar to make the world’s simplest chicken parmesan! Delectable.

A Classic Cornell tradition, all this needs is a bit of waffle, some fruit, and some ice cream.

See ya around, and enjoy your new food hacks.
