Craving a bagel between classes but don’t have time for the trek to CTB? Look no further than Bus Stop Bagels, located right next to Trillium in Kennedy Hall. Since its recent opening, the new on-campus bagel joint has been in full swing. You may recognize the familiar smell – the bagels are delivered twice a day from Ithaca Bakery (CTB uses these too!). Bus Stop Bagels offers specialty bagel/topping combinations that allow you to make the perfect breakfast or lunch. And what’s more – you can use BRBs.

If you’re thinking CTB-like sandwiches on campus sounds too good to be true – it gets better. The eclectic menu offers bagel spreads and toppings you can’t get at CTB or anywhere else on campus (read: avocado). If you’re looking for a sweet but protein-packed breakfast, try the Route 10: peanut butter, honey walnut cream cheese, blueberry apple butter, and banana on a Californian bagel. But hurry in early because this bagel is only available between 7 and 11 a.m.
Still, if you miss it, the lunchtime bagels are just as unique. The Route 92 – olive spread, goat cheese, arugula, pickled fennel, and cucumber on a spicy Italian bagel – is flavor-filled and sure to please (and vegetarian!) Bus Stop Bagels also puts their own spin on classics like the pizza bagel by topping a plain bagel with pesto, fresh mozzarella, and roasted tomato.

While the menu may seem small at first glance, the sandwich possibilities are really endless with the make-your-own option. You can choose your favorite parts from the options listed to create your dream bagel. Snacks are also available for purchase, as well as various drinks from the well-stocked fridge and Starbucks brewed coffee, a bagel store essential.
Bus Stop Bagels is a great meal option for any type of schedule. There’s limited seating now, so the bagels are perfectly prepared to be taken to class, or when the weather gets warmer, to the picnic tables right outside. The store caters to both early risers and late sleepers, as it is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. While the semester is almost over, it’s not too late to find a new favorite food place on campus. And with finals coming up, stress-eating is always the answer.
