This Friday, Cornell’s 2019 and 2020 Class Councils will host the annual Snowflake Gala in Duffield Hall. This year, the event’s proceeds will benefit the St. Francis Xavier Orphanage in Haiti, which currently supports 18 children’s everyday needs. Help support a good cause and be a part of a 80 year tradition. Here are four reasons to get excited for the event!
1You’re supporting an amazing cause:

The children were living alone in desperate circumstances in Haiti before the St. Francis Xavier Orphanage, but thanks to generous supporters, they have food, clothing, shelter, education and medical care. Help support children like them and give them the opportunity to follow their dreams.
2It’s a fun way to de-stress before finals:

Show off your dance moves, eat food from Ithaca Bakery, watch performance groups like Yamatai, and perhaps win a raffle prize from local Ithaca businesses. This is going to be an amazing night!
3Show off your ~fashion~

Have a swanky new outfit you’ve been dying to wear? This event calls for a semi-formal dress code, so dress up and get ready for a new Insta.
4Bring friends and make friends!

The event is open to all undergraduates, so feel free to bring your friends and meet new people! There will be a photobooth. It’s gonna be #lit.
The Snowflake Gala will be held on December 2nd at 9 pm in Duffield Hall. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. To buy them in advance, see a Class Council 2019 or 2020 member or buy them at cornelltickets.universitytickets.com. You can find more information about the event here.
