Its here. The game that all Big Red fans (including myself) have all been waiting for. We are about 2 minutes from tip off. Both teams are on the floor.
This Cornell team looks focused, almost more so that they normally do at Newman Arena.
A few notes….
Freshman guard Chris Wroblewski will be starting in place of junior guard Geoff Reeves. Reports are that the switch is not related to the Reeves injury that kept him out of the final two home games against Penn and Princeton. It is more that Coach Donahue wants another natural point guard on the floor to help break the Missouri pressure.
Aaron Osgood and Mark Van Burck did not dress for the game.
Starting Line-ups:
Missouri
G - J.T. Tiller
G - Zaire Taylor
G - Matt Lawrence
F - DeMarre Carroll
F - Leo Lyons
Cornell
G - Chris Wroblewski
G - Louis Dale
F - Ryan Wittman
F - Alex Tyler (or Alex Taylor as the announcer said)
C - Jeff Foote
Remember the 3 keys to the game
1. Break the Missouri press
2. Limit Missouri’s touches in the paint
3. Limit the run
