EMMY’S 2012: THE FASHION RECAP
September 24, 2012 —If you are like me, you watched a pixely UStream of the Emmy's (who has cable in ctown?!) and frantically skipped ahead every time Ryan Seacrest opened his mouth. Let's face it the Emmy's are about the Red Carpet... and this year I was pleasantly surprised by how pulled together everyone looked!
Sofia Vergara is a bombshell and generally looks amazing but this year she opted for a particularly fabulous teal sequin Zuhair Murad and looked HOT. Thank god Julie Bowen didn't wear steel wool again....her Lhuillier gown was tres chic and draws attention away from her hair situation. Finally, Tina Fey got it right! Every year she looks good but something is always a bit off. This year she shined in a Westwood gown.
Allison Williams looked amazing in the perfect Oscar de la Renta shade of green. Kat Dennings looked flawless in J. Mendel and had the best hair. Jessica Pare's white Jason Wu gown was a little too vanilla for my liking but she works it. Lesley Mann's Naeem Khan gown was my absolutely favorite of the night and the turquoise accessories MAKE this look! Lastly, pregnant Claire Danes' yellow Lanvin totally shimmered and made her literally glow!
