If Cornell Was A Spring Break Hotspot

Author: Alison Spandorfer

With Spring Break just around the corner, Cornellians are excited to leave the cold, rainy weather and vacation in the sunshine. Spring breakers flock to warm places such as Miami, Puerto Vallarta, and the Bahamas. But what if our beloved campus was one of these Spring Break hotspots that college students flocked to?

Here’s 8 things Cornell Spring Breakers would do:

1. Tan by the gorges.

You don’t need to go far to enjoy a great book or a deep conversation with a friend by a waterfall.

2. Party at Loco or Level B.

Better yet, let’s turn them into rooftop bars.

3. Wine Tour with your best friends.

What a wonderful way to un-WINE-d…

4. Bungee jump from the Clock Tower.

Step up your Insta game after the 161-step trek.

5. Streak through the Arts Quad.

It’s Spring Break, so this is actually socially acceptable.

6. Enjoy delicious milkshakes from the Dairy Bar.

Who needs a Spring Break body anyway?

7. Picnic in the Plantations.

Buy some snacks from Nasty’s and make it a memorable picnic.

8. Have a rager in a Library.

Because who needs to study anyway? (Take that, Olin & Mann!)

Unfortunately, Ithaca is just not meant to host Spring Breakers. If you’re one of the few students remaining over break, then definitely try out these creative activities. Here’s to you, Spring Break:
