Senior guard Max Groebe led Cornell with 15 points and tri-captain Aaron Osgood tallied a career-high 14 as Cornell beat Albany 65-61 to open the Bill Courtney era of Big Red basketball. Junior transfer Drew Ferry and former walk-on Johnathan Gray each added 12 points off the bench, posting double figure totals while playing their first significant minutes at Cornell.
