Episode 2.6: Ride that Tractor
April 4, 2013 —Yo, turn it on, crank it up and floor it — at 5 mph around the corn field! It’s my vehicle of choice– looking snazzy with a shiny new coat of red paint from a farmgirl’s friend, Homer D. Poe. I shine it so much that I can see familiar blue eyes boring into mine. The top’s always down, so my blonde hair always catches a breeze. My sleeves are rolled up, so I don’t get stereotyped as a farmgirl the moment I walk into a Macy’s looking for a Duff Ball dress. I won this baby in a contest– only cost me 10 bucks in raffle tickets. It’s better known as my 1954 International Harvester Super M, and no, I won’t let you drive it. Note: cow parade visits Costa Rica!
