Although Ithaca as a community seems to have a particularly strong interest in ecology, sustainability leaders and advocates are affecting change across the entire country. This week, I thought it would be a great opportunity to look beyond Ithaca and meet a sustainable entrepreneur from the midwest who’s helped found a unique business that simultaneous addresses many aspects of environmental and social sustainability. We’ll hear an interview with James Godsil, one of the founders of Sweet Water Organics, an urban fish and vegetable commercial aquaponic garden in Milwaukee, WI.

Great show this week; very interesting to hear what is going on with regard to urban agriculture; note that Will Allen has been on local TV stations with specials about his urban fishery and vegetable gardens; he may have even consulted in DC – possibly at White House – a very interesting guy.
