Spring is finally here! It’s time to bring out those colored pants you’ve been hiding away in the back of your closet for months. That’s right, in the season of flowers blooming, clear skies, rolling green grass – oh wait I’m talking about Ithaca right? My mistake. Even if it takes a few weeks for the weather to catch up with the season: spring is (or will be) in the air.

1. Why do you like colored pants so much?

There is nothing more that I love than colored pants. I call them my happy pants.  So, when prelims get you down or you’re upset Spring Break is only a week, put on those colored pants and turn that frown upside down.

2. What style should I look for?

You don’t want to be walking around in extremely baggy sag-all-the-way-to the-floor pants.There are two styles you can go for. The first option is that it should fit like a glove. The second option should be slightly baggy, as if you threw on your boyfriend’s pants casually.

3. I’m sold! Where can I find a pair of these pants exactly?

According to Brynn Daniels’16,  “Many clothing stores in the mall sells different colored pants during this time of the year, it just depends on what fit [and color] you like. I’m prone to more loose capri style pants in either in a light green, white, light blue, or any kind of pastel colored pant.”

 So go ahead everyone, put on those colorful pants and maybe, just maybe, spring will follow suit.
