When the Weather Doesn’t Make Sense

The sun is out. Frisbees are everywhere. And freshmen are more confused than ever right now. By this point in the year, Cornell should be a frozen tundra.

Whereas our friends from California had no idea what to about the impending cold weather, they eventually figured it out.

…and then it got warmer.

Halloween came and went without a blizzard.

Cornellians everywhere were simultaneously overjoyed and skeptical. The first days of November were unusually and deceivingly warm. But anyone who’s been here before knows it’s a mistake to get too comfortable…

 

It’s going to get windy. FAST.

You’re going to start relying on your sixth sense to determine the weather.

For now, Cornellians can only do two things: enjoy the gorgeous weather while they can – and brace for the cold. Because Winter is coming.
