Every day, her son eagerly looks forward to visiting the neighbor and returns home all smiles. His mother, who has no trust in this woman, decides to investigate what they’re up to. Upon discovering the truth, she immediately calls the police. However, she will regret her decision even sooner!
A worried mother for her son!
“Madame Éléonore gave it to me to help me cook!” proudly recounts Eli, 7 years old, as he walks home. His mother is aware that he has been spending time with the neighbor. However, the fact that she gave him money worries her greatly, especially since the woman doesn’t have the best reputation!
The scenario repeats itself for several days, and Eli seems increasingly happy thanks to the neighbor. But his mother’s anxiety grows as she starts to worry incessantly. When she asks him where the dishes they prepared are, he replies: “It’s a surprise, mom. I can’t say anything.”
Feeling overwhelmed with anxiety, Eli’s mother decides to accompany him to Madame Éléonore’s house. She lets him enter while she waits on the sidewalk. A short while later, she plays the spy by looking through the window. What she sees shocks her!
Instead of cooking, the child and the elderly woman are looking at numerous photos spread out on the table. Some of these pictures, which show Eli and his family, appear to have been taken secretly. Without hesitation, Eli’s mother barges into Madame Éléonore’s home. “Why do you have all these photos? What are you doing with my son?” she demands. Clearly, the neighbor struggles to adequately explain the situation, further fueling the mother’s suspicions!
Out of concern, the mother calls the police for assistance in resolving the matter. Soon, officers arrive and everyone regains their composure. In tears, the elderly woman shares her story and reveals her true motivations. What she says leaves everyone speechless!
In reality, this woman had no intention of harming Eli or his family. The little boy simply reminded her of her deceased grandson, stirring up happy memories she thought she had buried long ago!
