Tell me about yourself!

My name is Lindsey Williams. I am a junior majoring in Biological Sciences, graduating in December 2021.

Which testing site(s) do you work at?

I work at Sage Chapel and the ILR Conference Center.

Why did you choose to become a surveillance tester?

I wanted to be part of the system in place keeping our community safe! I am pre-health so it’s also good experience.

What has your experience working at the testing centers been like so far?

It has been good! I like getting to see and interact with so many people in person, which we can not really do safely right now. Sometimes it was stressful in the late summer and early fall when there were long lines, but I think the process is running much more smoothly now.

What do you like to do in your free time? Hobbies? Fun facts? Interests?

I like to run, ski, be outdoors, hang with friends, and listen to music. I also love the snow and hope we get a little in Ithaca before we go home for Thanksgiving!

If you could say something to the Cornell community, what would you say?

Stay safe! Hopefully, we will be out of this soon. We can get through this together!
