The Cornell Concert Commission Announces Peach Pit
By Gaby Maurice
The Cornell Concert Commission is proud to announce indie-pop band Peach Pit for its February show!
Hailing from Vancouver, Peach Pit combines soft-spoken vocal styles and breezy distorted guitars bring bedroom pop and surf rock together on their latest album, Being So Normal. They’ve performed live shows across North America, Europe, and Asia, and have been a highlight at festivals including Bonnaroo and Shakey Knees. They have amassed an impressive fanbase along the way. Their sound has brought them critical acclaim with their songs “Peach Pit”, Sweet FA EP, and their most recent song “Shampoo Bottles”, that was released in support of an upcoming album. They will be accompanied by the energetic and eternally hopeful Dayglow who is currently touring his album Fuzzybrain.
The show is on February 15th at Bailey Hall, tickets are on sale for Cornell students now at CornellTickets.com! They open up to the general public on February 3rd. Don’t miss out on an amazing night with two spectacular acts for less than $20! The doors open at 6 pm and the show starts at 7 pm. I look forward to seeing everyone there.
